El Camino Quarterly | January - March 2026

January, February, and March 2026

Healing Lives Through Jesus

Dear friends, partners, and supporters,

As we close the first quarter of 2026, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness and for every person who continues to walk alongside the mission of El Camino Global. During January, February, and March, we served vulnerable families through healthcare, discipleship, education, community development, and practical support for those facing urgent needs.

Each action this quarter reminded us that hope is often built through simple but meaningful acts of love: a family receiving safer living conditions, a child beginning school with encouragement, a patient receiving medical care, a church becoming a stronger place for worship, and a community experiencing the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Hope for Vulnerable Families

Many families in the village of El Hondable face serious health risks and live in deep poverty. In the middle of that reality, we had the privilege of supporting the family of Romero, a joyful 5-year-old boy and Norlan’s little brother, by providing a sanitary station that helps create safer and more dignified living conditions.

This support reminds us that, through the generosity of donors and partners, hope and practical care can reach families who need it most. More than improving a home, this work affirms the dignity of each person and reminds them that they are not alone.

Health That Restores Hope

Healthcare remains one of the ways El Camino Global helps restore stability, dignity, and hope to vulnerable families. This quarter, we continued supporting seven cataract patients from communities in Colomoncagua, helping cover the logistical and financial needs required for their care in partnership with Hospital del Ojo del Club de Leones SPS.

We also strengthened access to treatment through a medicine donation to the San Marcos Health Center in Colomoncagua, made possible through the support of Fundación Ruth Paz. This contribution helps low-income families receive needed medicines while reinforcing local healthcare services.

In addition, we launched the first month of certification classes with 19 students through Mi Promotor de Salud. Training health promoters in rural communities allows us to leave behind more than temporary care. It helps build lasting local capacity so that mothers, children, and families can receive timely care before preventable conditions become crises.

As Scripture reminds us:

“For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds.”Jeremiah 30:17, AMP

Practical Love in Action

This quarter, we carried out four community development projects that reflected the love of Christ through practical service. In El Hondable, we supported improvements to the local church, benefiting 35 families and strengthening a space used for worship and community life.

In El Limoncillo, we helped provide a full roof so the congregation could gather in a safer and more dignified place. We also supported Maximiliano and Adilia’s family with access to electricity, water, and a new hygiene station, while providing a dignified wheelchair for their son, Norlan, who has mobility needs.

We also helped provide roofing, structural pillars, and security improvements for the home of José Aquileo Castillo and his family. These efforts do more than improve infrastructure. They create safer environments where families can live with greater hope and stability.

A Container of Relief and Hope

Through strategic collaboration with Jaremar, CEPUDO, and Food For The Poor, we received a container of aid that brought relief to vulnerable families in Valle and Choluteca. With logistical support from FUNDESUR, this effort helped strengthen school nutrition, provide medical supplies to health centers and hospitals, and distribute clothing, shoes, and hygiene items to families in need, reaching more than 2,000 people.

This initiative shows what can happen when partnerships come together around one purpose: serving with compassion, excellence, and faith.

M3 Conference 2026

Our participation in M3 Conference 2026 in Houston was a strategic step in visibility, networking, and partnership building. This space allowed us to connect with potential volunteers, partners, and donors while presenting El Camino Global’s Christ-centered work in healthcare and missions.

We approached every connection and conversation with intention, seeking that each one would contribute to greater impact and to the glory of God.

Equipping Leaders for Discipleship

In February, we began spiritual formation with 37 pastors and leaders through a three-year discipleship process in partnership with World Hope. By investing in local spiritual leaders, we are helping strengthen churches, families, and communities with biblical foundations that can endure for generations.

We believe that when a leader is equipped, many lives can be impacted. Community transformation is strengthened when men and women are prepared to serve with faith, wisdom, and perseverance.

Education That Transforms

In March, we continued English classes in schools across four communities in Colomoncagua, reaching approximately 120 children. These classes are part of our commitment to holistic development, helping children grow in both knowledge and confidence.

We also delivered 30 backpacks in communities such as Colomoncagua Centro and Quebrachal, thanks to the donation from our partners at FUNDESUR. This practical support helped children begin the school year with renewed motivation. Each child encouraged to remain in school is one more step toward a stronger and more resilient future.

Your Support Changes Lives

Thank you for helping us continue bringing healthcare, discipleship, education, and community development to families who need it most. Your generosity allows us to serve with compassion, excellence, and faithfulness, healing lives through Jesus.

Scripture reminds us:

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”Acts 20:35

To every donor, volunteer, church, organization, partner, and friend of El Camino Global: thank you. Every contribution becomes part of a greater story of restoration, hope, and faith.

Together, we continue walking forward, bringing practical help and the love of Christ to those who need it most.
