El Camino Global 2025 Impact

Healing Lives Through Jesus

Dear friends, partners, and supporters,

As we look back on 2025, our hearts are filled with gratitude for everything God allowed us to accomplish through El Camino Global. From March to December, we had the opportunity to serve communities in Honduras and El Salvador, bringing medical support, emotional care, practical assistance, and the message of hope found in Jesus Christ.

This year, El Camino Global continued reaching people where the need is real and where compassion can make a lasting difference. Our work began in San Miguel, El Salvador, and in Santa Ana and other communities in Colomoncagua, Intibucá. These are places where thousands of people are served each year, and where every visit becomes an opportunity to bring care, dignity, and faith.

A Year of Service and Impact

Throughout 2025, El Camino Global reached people across six departments in Honduras: Choluteca, Valle, Comayagua, Cortés, La Paz, and Intibucá. We also served in San Miguel, El Salvador. Through our programs and outreach efforts, 8,019 people were reached, supported, and cared for.

Our mission is not only to provide assistance, but to remind every person that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.

Medical Brigades and Community Care

One of the most meaningful parts of our work this year was the development of medical brigades designed to meet both immediate and long-term needs.

In Santa Ana, Colomoncagua, Intibucá, we carried out an optometric and general care brigade, providing services such as eye care, lenses, drops, and attention from optometrists.

In Santa Elena and Yarula, La Paz, pediatric brigades offered general consultations and specialized attention. Dental care was also provided, mainly for children, while also reaching adults in the community.

In San Pedro Sula, seven patients received support for cataract surgeries. This assistance included medicine, transportation, food, and medical care, allowing these patients to receive treatment with dignity and hope.

Evangelism and Spiritual Impact

At the center of El Camino Global is the desire to serve both the body and the soul. During our evangelism efforts, 159 people were reached through prayer and the message of salvation.

In one of our outreach efforts connected to cataract surgeries in San Pedro Sula, 43 people accepted the Lord and 100 gospel tracts were distributed. This work was supported by the evangelism team of Ebenezer Church of Christ Honduras.

Every prayer, every conversation, and every act of service was an opportunity to share the love of Jesus in a practical and personal way.

Emotional Support and Resilience

This year, El Camino Global also helped connect a day of resilience and emotional support for the Sierra Lenca staff of World Vision, reaching 35 people. This special gathering, led with the support of Karen Shuder through “Resilient and Sustainable Caring,” created space for encouragement, emotional strengthening, and care for those who serve others.

We believe that those who care for communities also need to be cared for, strengthened, and reminded that their work matters.

Stronger Together Through Partnerships

None of this would have been possible without the support of valuable partners and friends who believe in the mission of El Camino Global.

In 2025, we were blessed to work alongside organizations and institutions such as World Vision, Food for the Poor, CEPUDO, FUNDESUR, Lions Club International, Fundación Ruth Paz, Grupo Jaremar, Mi Promotor de Salud, and the Mayor’s Office of Colomoncagua.

These partnerships helped expand our reach and allowed us to serve more people with excellence, compassion, and purpose.

Our Current Project: Happy Families

As we continue moving forward, El Camino Global is developing the “Happy Families Project,” an extension of our Evangelism Program.

This initiative is designed to provide comprehensive and personalized support to vulnerable families with special needs. The project includes food assistance, wheelchairs, periodic visits, medication, and critical home improvements.

Through Happy Families, we want to walk closely with families who need more than a one-time response. We want to offer consistent support, practical help, and spiritual encouragement.

Our Mission Heart

The heart of our mission is guided by the Word of God:

“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.”Psalm 82:3, NIV

This verse reminds us why we serve. Every brigade, every visit, every surgery, every prayer, and every gift is part of a greater mission: to defend, uphold, restore, and bring hope in the name of Jesus.

Thank You

To every partner, volunteer, donor, church, organization, and friend who supported El Camino Global in 2025: thank you.

Your generosity helped bring healing, encouragement, and hope to thousands of lives. Together, we are not only meeting needs. We are building bridges of compassion and faith.

El Camino Global remains committed to healing lives through Jesus.
